How to target spelling errors
Share
It often takes children longer to learn to spell than to learn to read. They may be reading a pattern fluently, but have a harder time using it in spelling.
The Super Spelling Cards gives children many opportunities to practice hearing all the sounds in a word, and identifying which letter goes with each sound.
The child in this video was having difficulty knowing when to write short "i" vs short "e" (e.g. "pin" vs. "pen"). Watch how we used the Super Spelling Cards: Early Vowels to practice.
